An Acre of Trout

Mike H. and I have been fishing for the last two days and have one more day until the weekend warriors hit the water. Today we ended up in a back bay that was shallow, clear and the wind calm, as you can see. We found fish tailing and chasing shrimp and decided to put on a popper and took turns casting to trout after trout; and they were eating.
There are a lot of trout on the flats these days. These were all in the 22-23 inch range but we saw some the first day that were easily 30 inches.
